"CHANGE: starts with me"

"CHANGE: starts with me"
We should start in our self because we should be responsible enough to our self if you want to help others. In short we should be a model to others for them to follow us in the right path. Changes in our discipline will help us and others in the future. Because this will help us others to see a good moral and right conduct on us. To make them realize that it is better to be a good person than bad.

We should practice that first in our self to perfectly show to others and tell them to change their unnecessary things that they are doing now.

"Kannawidan Festival"

"Kannawidan Festival"
This is one of the most exciting activity. Because we can see lots of town products and many more. This is important because this activity can give us knowledge about other towns and products and we will know what are their products.

The Kannawidan Ylocos Festival 2014 goes full blast with the traditional opening ritual led by the indigenous people of Ilocos Sur together with Gov. Ryan Singson and other local officials, with Sen. Cynthia Villar as guest of honor. The festival showcases the rich heritage, tradition, culture, arts, crafts and delicacies of Ilocos Sur.

"Climate Change"

Climate change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns over periods ranging from decades to millions of years. It may be a change in average weather conditions, or in the distribution of weather around the average conditions   Climate change is caused by factors such as biotic processes, variations in solar radiation received by Earth, plate tectonics, and volcanic eruptions. Certain human activities have also been identified as significant causes of recent climate change, often referred to as "global warming".
Scientists actively work to understand past and future climate by using observations and theoretical models. A climate record extending deep into the Earth's past has been assembled, and continues to be built up, based on geological evidence from borehole temperature profiles, cores removed from deep accumulations of ice, floral and faunal records, glacial and periglacial processes, stable-isotope and other analyses of sediment layers, and records of past sea levels. More recent data are provided by the instrumental record. General circulation models, based on the physical sciences, are often used in theoretical approaches to match past climate data, make future projections, and link causes and effects in climate change.

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

The International Young Christian Workers Movement (IYCW) joins hands in solidarity with young women to pledge its continuing support for equal rights and equal opportunities for all young workers.   International Women’s Day is a critical day for us to raise our voices publicly and together.  It is an opportunity for us to celebrate women’s lives and achievements, as well as to focus on the inequality and injustice that continue to occur in our day-to-day lives.
We know from our own stories that young women make up the majority of those living in poverty, that millions of women have died needlessly due to lack of healthcare and safe living and working conditions, and  that there is a worldwide pandemic of violence against women.
We all have equal rights, men, woman, children and old ones. And we should respect that.
